Summary: We know, this looks like yet another generic zombie movie. And sad to say, it mostly is. But so long as one has an interesting setting, some neat characters, and an on-and-off grip on restraint, there can be a diamond in the rough. A shame some of the undead had to be kids again.
History: One day, a would-be rock star joined his kid on a field trip to a petting zoo along with the kindly teacher that he pines for. Unfortunately, said petting zoo is right next to a government facility that has unleashed a zombie outbreak. The moment it spreads, hordes of undead attack the area. While the teacher tries to make sure the kids stay unaware, she and the rest of the surviving adults scramble for a means of survival.
Notable Kills: A depraved kids show host is murdered by his zombified puppeteer. It almost makes it look like a zombie puppet is doing the job. And to be fair, that man had it coming.
Final Fate: The non-turned humans manage to get out in time, and right as the government shows up to clean up their mess. There's a slight implication that this has happened before, but that matters not. What does is that the petting zoo is blown up, containing the outbreak.
Powers/Abilities: A bite spreads the outbreak.
Weakness: Anything conventional, though they are also rather sluggish, and they can be tamed by soft music.
Scariness Factor: 3-As usual, a zombie outbreak is not a pleasant thing to be caught in the middle of. But like many before them, these ones are of the slow and non-agile variety, and the way a cute song can make them docile is just absurd, if a little sad with what it implies.
Trivia: -The teacher's actor, Lupita Nyong'o, had also dealt with humanoid abominations earlier in 2019. Namely, the film "Us".
-A lot of this film was inspired by director Abe Forsythe's kid Spike, and his first days at Kindergarten. The kid even shows up as one of the zombies.
